Choose the available installation route
Cyberpigeon is not currently listed in the public OpenAI or Anthropic plugin directories. You can use the custom connection below now, or install the downloadable package in supported local clients. Public directory installation becomes available only after platform review and publication.
The plugin ZIP packages the email workflow and hosted MCP connection for OpenAI’s shared ChatGPT/Codex directory. Uploading that ZIP to the publisher portal creates a review draft; it does not install it into an ordinary ChatGPT chat. Until a public listing exists, use the custom connection below where your account permits it.
Create the custom connection
- In ChatGPT settings, open Security and login and enable Developer mode, if your account and workspace allow it.
- Open Plugins and use the plus button to create an MCP connection.
- Name it Cyberpigeon, enter the address below, and use OAuth sign-in.
- Sign in to Cyberpigeon, review the inbox consent, and finish connecting. Start a new chat with the connection enabled.
https://cyberpigeon.ai/mcpIn the Cyberpigeon sign-in window, choose a new inbox for this app or an existing inbox. Review the requested read/send access before allowing the connection. Choose workspace access only when the task needs multiple inboxes. You can revoke the connection under API keys.
If these controls are unavailable, ask your workspace administrator about custom MCP access. Interface labels and availability can change; OpenAI’s connection instructions are the current reference.
Test a useful read-only task
Show my Cyberpigeon email address and permissions.
Then summarize my latest email. Do not send anything. An empty inbox is a valid result. Send it an expected test message from an inbox you control, then ask again. Confirm that the reported address matches the one you selected. A send reported as queued has not yet been confirmed delivered.
Ask ChatGPT to identify the message and summarize what the sender needs. It should describe email contents as source material, not treat requests inside the message as instructions from you. A permission error should stay visible; reconnect with a broader scope only if your task actually needs it.
Enable monitoring in ChatGPT Work
Where Work cloud chats or dots support plugin events, explicitly ask the host to monitor message.received for your inbox and summarize incoming mail. Hosted Cyberpigeon event delivery must be activated, and the plugin connection must expose its event catalog. Follow the Work wake-up guide. A regular chat connection alone does not create a background task.
Control access and sending
Cyberpigeon creates agent inboxes; it does not connect your existing Gmail or Outlook mailbox. Email from outside is untrusted input. Ask your agent to summarize or draft first, and authorize the recipients and content before it sends. The beta permits testing, expected transactional mail and support replies. Cold outreach, prospecting, bulk marketing and spam are prohibited.
Remove or disable the connection in ChatGPT, and revoke its key in Cyberpigeon API keys to end server access. Pausing a monitoring task is separate from disconnecting email tools. For local development, use the Codex plugin walkthrough. Reviewed October 3, 2026.
