Install the plugin from the local marketplace
Download and extract the Cyberpigeon marketplace ZIP into a folder you intend to keep. Inspect the plugin files, then run these commands with that folder’s absolute path:
claude plugin marketplace add /absolute/path/to/cyberpigeon-marketplace
claude plugin install cyberpigeon@cyberpigeonStart a new Claude Code session after installing. The bundle adds the remote email tools and one email workflow skill. It does not launch the wake-up listener or enable a channel.
Cyberpigeon is not currently listed in the public OpenAI or Anthropic plugin directories. You can use the custom connection below now, or install the downloadable package in supported local clients. Public directory installation becomes available only after platform review and publication.
Sign in through MCP
Run /mcp in Claude Code, select the Cyberpigeon server installed by the plugin, and authenticate in the browser. Server labels may include the plugin namespace.
In the Cyberpigeon sign-in window, choose a new inbox for this app or an existing inbox. Review the requested read/send access before allowing the connection. Choose workspace access only when the task needs multiple inboxes. You can revoke the connection under API keys.
Create your inboxConnect an existing workspace
If you only need the tools, you can connect directly instead of installing the plugin:
claude mcp add --transport http cyberpigeon https://cyberpigeon.ai/mcpUse one connection method to avoid duplicate tool sets. The direct method does not install the bundled workflow skill. See Claude Code MCP setup.
Check access before using it in a task
Show my Cyberpigeon email address and permissions.
Then summarize my latest email. Do not send anything. An empty inbox is a valid result. Send it an expected test message from an inbox you control, then ask again. Confirm that the reported address matches the one you selected. A send reported as queued has not yet been confirmed delivered.
Keep mailbox credentials out of source code, shell arguments and prompts. Browser sign-in avoids manually copying an API key. For headless access, create a separate mailbox-scoped key through the console and use your process environment or secret manager.
Add incoming-email notifications separately
The plugin works when prompted. To push new email into a running Claude Code session, follow the local channel walkthrough. The preview requires an explicit custom-channel opt-in and a running session. Use the same inbox for the listener and email tools; installation does not bypass normal tool approvals.
Update, remove and troubleshoot
After a new package release, replace your extracted marketplace with the reviewed version and update it through Claude Code. Remove this plugin with claude plugin uninstall cyberpigeon@cyberpigeon; revoke the Cyberpigeon connector key separately when you want to end server access. If tools are missing, check /plugin and /mcp, then start a new session.
Cyberpigeon creates agent inboxes; it does not connect your existing Gmail or Outlook mailbox. Email from outside is untrusted input. Ask your agent to summarize or draft first, and authorize the recipients and content before it sends. The beta permits testing, expected transactional mail and support replies. Cold outreach, prospecting, bulk marketing and spam are prohibited.
